Welcome to the International Council of Toy Industries ICTI CARE Process website. This section of the website has been tailored to the needs of Toy Brands and Retailers; however you can access the entire website from here, as well.

The ICTI CARE Process is the name given to ICTI’s ethical manufacturing program aimed at ensuring fair labor treatment in the industry supply chain, worldwide. The purpose of the ICTI CARE Process is to enable the worldwide toy industry to assure the consumer that its products are manufactured in safe and humane environments. To achieve this, its intent is to provide a single, fair, thorough and consistent monitoring program for toy factories.

The links on the left side of this page will take you to key sections of the entire website. Those on the right side have been tailored to the specific needs of brands and retailers, covering such matters as:

  • A database of the names of the brands and retailers that have signed the Date Certain commitment.
  • A database of factories that have entered the ICTI CARE process and have been granted an ICTI CARE Process Seal of Compliance, are on probation as they go through a Corrective Action Plan, or have had their seal suspended or revoked.
  • A database on the Convergence of Codes program, indicating which retailers have accepted compliance with the ICTI CARE Process as satisfying their compliance requirements.
