Social Compliance Specialist & Compliance Auditor ICTI CARE Process - Social Compliance Program
Job Responsibilities
The Specialist/Auditor is responsible to:
- Conduct factory social audits and support factories to implement appropriate corrective actions;
- Perform quality checks on audits conducted by ICTI CARE Process accredited auditors and audit firms;
- Coordinate and provide assistance to training programs for factory managers and workers;
- Produce reports in a timely manner and update database;
- Perform other reasonable duties as required by Compliance Manager;
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of working experience, preferably in factory environment or in development work;
- Good experience in project coordination and implementation;
- Social and environmental auditing experience is preferred but not a must. Proven experience in working with factory managers and workers is a definite advantage;
- Support ICTI-CARE core values of ensuring fair labor standards, safe and humane workplace and environments, and commitment to sustainable development;
- Knowledge of international labor conventions, local labor laws and regulations;
Required Competencies

Social Compliance Senior Training and Capacity Building Manager ICTI CARE Process
The ICTI CARE Foundation Asia Ltd. is recruiting a Senior Training and Capacity Building Manager to join our dynamic and fast growing Asia operations group, responsible for managing the development and implementation of training projects conducive to bringing about positive changes regarding corporate social responsibility in the toy industry. This includes programs for factory management, workers and auditors. The position will be based in Hong Kong at our office in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Job Responsibilities
The Manager is responsible for supporting our Chief Operating Officer to:
- Lead and drive our training department in response to training needs assessment including; curriculum development; training the trainers; resources identification; measurement and post-training analysis/reporting;
- Develop training projects in socially compliant management systems, including HR, capacity and capability building to support factories (management) to make positive changes and build their long-term commitment to meet ICTI CARE Process requirements and to support their business needs.
- Forecast the potential training demands, edit the training curriculum and materials;
- Coordinate the production of training materials. Review programs available from other training providers;
- Closely collaborate with our NGO partner organizations who conduct our training activities.
- Coordinate training activities in collaboration with Technical Manager to improve auditor and audit company training.
- Produce RFP’s for identifying suitable education and training partners for ICFAL (Factory management and workers, and auditors);
- Implement or monitor the implementation of training sessions and briefings to stakeholders in training programs;
- Conduct or oversee needs assessment, monitoring and evaluation of training programs and ensure effective implementation of training program;
- Formulate work plans and budget, manage project logistics and deliver reports in a timely and efficient manner;
- Engage factories, industry associations, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders to build synergy for high quality training programs;
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be:
- An experienced, mid-level educator and/or trainer with a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant working experience in the field of corporate social responsibility or development work;
- Strong experience managing projects which support factories to make improvements in labor standards. Proven experience in working with factory managers and workers is a definite advantage;
- Experience in leading and guiding small teams and ability to motivate them to deliver results;
- Social auditing experience is preferred but not a must;
- Experience in working with non-profit and/or Non-Governmental-Organizations is preferred but not a must;
- Support ICTI-CARE core values of ensuring safe and humane workplace environments, and commitment to sustainable development;
- Knowledge in international labor conventions, local labor laws and regulations “preferred but not a must” ;
Required Competencies
- Self-motivated, high ethical standards, energetic and drive to achieve impact;
- Good communications skills and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment as a team leader;
- Excellent organizational, coordination and planning skills;
- Strong computer skills, good command of Power point based speech skill
- High proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin and English and Cantonese. Good Putonghua is a must.
- Willing to locate in Hong Kong and travel frequently to China.

Social Compliance Communication and Business Development Manager ICTI CARE Process
The ICTI CARE Foundation Asia Ltd. (‘ICFAL’) is recruiting a Communication and Business Development Manager to join our dynamic and fast growing Asia operations group, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (‘COO’). Responsible for managing the development of a system of communications to promote the need for Social Compliance to be promoted throughout the supply chain and to report issues and results bringing about positive changes regarding corporate social responsibility in the toy industry. The position will be based in Hong Kong at our office in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Job Responsibilities
The Communication and Business Development Manager, working under the supervision of the COO and in cooperation with ICFAL President/CEO, will be expected to participate in strategic planning and to lead implementation of the expansion effort.
This will include, more specifically:
- Prepare regular newsletters to stakeholders and attract their attention to our program and program progress;
- Regular communication of issues and resolutions to all Stakeholders
- Developing and driving a strategic plan for the expansion of ICFAL in both industrial variety, region and in the number of factories. Working with management, to develop expansion and marketing strategies, tactics, target groups, priorities, timetables and budgets.
- Implementation of the plan, including developing a list of specific targets, preparation of presentations, sales visits.
- Coordination with targeted national toy (and other product) associations, industry associations/brands, local government authorities, etc.
- Identification of suitable auditing partners for newly-developed activities and geographic locations in coordination with Technical Manager.
- Development, with management, of expansion projects for proposals to interested targets.
- Explore alternative channels of communication
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be:
- An experienced, enthusiastic professional, ideally with professional services marketing experience and knowledge of the social compliance auditing business.
- That has good knowledge of the Asian supply chain in a global context.
- Soft sales skill with excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent PPT presentation and business minded.
- Fluent English and knowledge of Mandarin and/or Southeast Asian languages.
- Travel to southern China.
